Blue Poppy Gallery was founded in 2013 by Diana Swallow in the beautiful Tampa Bay Florida area. With the help of her husband Ken Swallow, Diana has participated in hundreds of pop up markets throughout the state and has sold prints to thousands of happy customers worldwide. With a background in art and graphic design she combines modern and vintage elements for a fresh new look.
One of the most common questions people ask is why dictionary pages? Ken is an assemblage art artist and customers sometimes give him old things to use in sculptures. One customer gave him an old dictionary with broken binding and pages falling out. Diana has always loved creating art for her walls "when I was in a teen and in my 20's I couldn't afford fancy art for my walls so I created my own art, fun art" now with Blue Poppy Gallery and the belief that everyone should be able to afford amazing art for their walls, the dream has become a reality.
